Dear Uh...Poseidon Uh...My Lord Uh...Your Highness Uh...Dad,


Ever since I was a little kid I always wondered who you were and what you looked like,but now that I have found out that I am some kind of God or demigod...Well the son of the God of the seas, I've wonder would I be safe from monsters or will my dad come back to the earth to help protect me from demons and Hades. After what happened at the history museum when my English teacher had turn to some kind of monster
bat thing and tried to kill me over a lightning bolt. She said that I stole it from another God named Zeus (which I think he is your brother right?).

Then Hades came to the camp and told me that he has my mother and he will exchange her for Zeus' bolt. To get my mom back I have to find three blue pearls and escape from the underworld.

The first pearl was at Medusa's lair, she told me that you broke her heart. After me defeating Medusa we went to the next location of the second pearl. It was in Tennessee at the History Museum, where we saw the statue of Athena. Though the pearl was at the top of the statues head (which was like 70 feet in the air). I had an idea to fly up to the statue with my super cool  flying shoes. My plans changed when five janitors turned into a hydra. So I flew in the air slicing their head's off, but what I didn't know that when you cut off one hydra head two more grow back. Grover defeated the hydra by taking Medusa's glasses off her chopped off head and turning the dragon to stone. The third pearl was located at the Lotus Hotel & Casino.After being offered lotus flowers, we decided to stay longer. When we thought we only stayed for a few minutess it was actually five days. When we found the pearl we found the entrance to the Underworld.  so anyways we got in a car that said: win this car and we got in and out the hotel all the way to the underworld were I had saw Hades and he thought that I was lying about me not having the bolt. So he had brung mom from out this ball were she had turn from dust to her normal body and when I had drop the shield to go hug mom and the shield had broken and inside there was the bolt because Luke had hidden the bolt in my shield and Hades almost killed me when his own wife had strut him with the bolt and there was only three pearls to only transport three people not four so Grover had stayed and when we had appeared on the city's tower and that's when Luke had appeared and we started fighting and of coruse I had won the fight and that's when I had brought Zeus the bolt.

The Strange Picture

When i had looked at the picture the first time i didn't see a man kind of laying or climbing up or down from the mountains.And this picture looks like a man trying to study the force of nature for pictures to show to the world.

The Mauryan Empire

                                                                  Introduction
There was a country called the Mauryan empire who had a king called king Asoka.King Asoka ruled this empire from 269 to 232 B.C.E and has been in many wars.King Asoka  had wars in the south and east side and after one brutal war,he decided to reject violence.He supported Buddhist values of love,peace,and nonviolence.King Asoka would never again fight for another kingdom for their land.

                                         
                                                                Government
The Mauryan empire had to choose an efficient and well run government for their country.The Mauryan empire government contained many layers,almost person who had a skilled job directed someone
else,they had to report to and were controlled by.Officers or any other job was well paid because the
Mauryan empire believed in high salaries.Mauryan rulers tried to establish a father-son relationship between them and their subjects.they reputedly always wanted to hear want was on their subjects  mind.They was
willing to hear complaints pr obtainable for consultation. So while people are getting well paid they have the money to pay for shelter, clean water and enough food to eat.


                                                                     Food Supply
There is a company in the Mauryan empire called General welfare.These people promote for their well-being.They give people extra money so they will have everything they need.The general welfare gives people the things they need,if they don't have it,like they make sure you have good health and shelter.
They also make sure you have clean water and enough food to eat.So if you are poor and need food are some help go to the Mauryan empire,they will supply you with everything you will need.



                                                                      Art
The Mauryan period is an important period in history of India art and architecture.In the Mauryan empire, king Asoka made some art and some architecture.For example, some of his finest art was the famous
Asokan pillars, the purpose of this art work was to show people and citizens of the Mauryan empire the
rules of this country.The columns on the pillar was  work of art,architecture and engineering.The pillars was made out of a single stone which was cut and was shaped and polish. Not just regular people can do art and
architecture, kings can too.


                                                                        Religion
India has been a very religious country since time immemorial.In pre-historic  times,there were no religions
as such but people worshipped various forces of nature like sun,moon and thunder.Every religion had its own
religious practice and belief, holy scriptures like Vedas,Upanishads and epics talk about the ancient religious practices of India.Hinduism was one of the earliest religions to be found in India and it also consider to be 
one of the worlds oldest  religions.New beliefs and practices came into being and meaning of religion took
an entirely new turn.The society became oppressive of certain religions practices and many smaller religious
and beliefs came into being , the ancient religions of India laid a strong foundation of religious practices that 
are followed till date.


                                                                        Technology
The history of science and technology in India begins with pre-historic human activity at Mehrgarh.By 5500 B.C.E a number of sites similar to Mehrgarh had appeared,forming the basis of later chalcolithic.Irrigation was developed in the Indus valley civilization.One of the technology that ancient India has created is a hand-propelled wheel cart,Indus valley civilization (3000-1500 B.C.E).By 2800 B.C.E they created private bathroom located on the ground floor,were found and many houses in a Indus civilization.An ancient India they created a lot of things and the present they're still creating things.


                                                                            Social Structure
Tn ancient India,society was divided into four parts Brahman,Kshatriya,Visayans and Sudra.The original intent
of caste was to provide a convenient social structure to the India civilization,with the actions of an individual determining their random society.A parallel may be drawn to the wests social classification of people into different classes.Different level of sites came to be associated with each caste,and changing ones statues  in life became virtually impossible.Ibbetson identifies two principles,the community of blood and the community of occupation,the community of occupation reflects ones caste,the community blood reflects ones tribe.



                                                                     Writing
People living in india have used many different writing systems and recorded down different types of information as the need arose.The first indian script developed in the indus valley around 2600 B.C is still
undeciphered .Later indian scripts like Brahmi and Kharosthi were developed to write both official and local lanuages.Great epics,royal inscrition religion texts and administrative document were all written using these scripts.Through these sources we are able to learn about the literature mythology,history and beliefs of ancient india.

Get It Right

Its important to check your research facts before you post anything because you might
have some information about something thats wrong and later on you might have an angry mob
on you.So when you are writing you should first look on the internet or go to the libary to get
some books and keep reading until you get the true facts about something or someone:).

5th block

My 5th block teacher had a sub. and the sub wrote me up for telling a student to shut up so i had almost got iss for telling someone to shut up. :)

My book

The book that I  read was The White Gates. It is a good book about  a boy who is trying to learn to snowboard. And it's a mystery about an officer who drew a lot of blood from a snowboarder and killed him. So the officer blames it on the boy's mother so the main character  is trying to  figure out what happen to the boy.

Why did i go to the offices

Wednesday 8,2010 i went to the offices because a student ask me to get a piece of papper off the floor and i gave them the papper back to them and the sub worte me for give the papper to so today i went to Mr.wren office and me, and two other students almost had a punishment but Mr.wren had to go so he sent us back to class
